Baby Channel claims to be the only TV channel available that is 100% dedicated to housewives with young children. That may certainly be true in the U.K., but it won’t be long before some wily American gives them a run for their money. What’s important to know is that the target audience will be in the right frame of mind–desperate for good advice and some solidarity.

Free access and free subscription as well. TelVos launches automatically on your computer, and is MS-based. Programming is scheduled, not on-demand. Show times appear to be local. What’s fascinating is the show that features a doctor who can communicate with babies in the same way Dr. Doolittle can “talk” to the animals. Show times apparently sync up with the viewer’s local time.
