Oh man, Lenny Kravitzās website kicks butt! Iām right now jamming to his āI Want to Fly Awayā while writing this review, and the speakers are making my flat screen bounce. Actually his official website has been officially shut down, so when you surf to it, you will instead be re-directed to Lennyās MySpace site.
Props for Lennyās MySpace profile set up go to bandspaces.comāāadvanced MySpace design who created its pristine, dynamic look. Their motto is ātaking over MySpace, one band at a time.ā With skills like theirs, itās no doubt.
In the meantime, Lennyās space rocks out with sections that include a radio, Video, and a Discography. Radio features nine Kravitz songs while Video offers up another nine. Audio comes on crisply and the video is stable too. That’s good to know. So many streaming websites are lousy like that, even now, six plus years into the new millennium.
The Discography highlights two things about Lenny Kravitz: one, he’s fired off eight flavorful cd’s in 18 years, and two, he’s about 4 years overdue to drop a new one. Come on now, Lenny, wazzzup wit dat?! How you gonna leave a brotha hangin’?
Musicians are music fans too, so it’s extra special when they care enough to hip us to what music they’re listening to at the moment. Lenny Kravitz obliges us through his Song of the Day feature. It’s a great way to expose his fans to other artists. I just wish there were a Song of the Day archives for us to further enjoy. Not that I’m complaining, yo! In fact, I’m busy just having a good old time, so you all are just gonna have to surf on over to Lennyās space and pick up on what else you’re missing.
