BloombergTelevision online is the streaming broadcast division of Bloomberg.
Bloomberg is the leading global provider of data, news and analytics. Bloomberg is also leader of New York City, but that’s another story. Bloomberg, the site, is aimed at corporations, news organizations, financial and legal professionals worldwide. Bloomberg Television operates 24 hours a day and reaches more than 200 million homes worldwide via 10 networks in seven languages. Sounds impressive, right?
It is. The first time I surfed the site, Bloomberg’s player was very unstable and ran using Real Player. Several months later, somebody there got the memo. The player is now a more robust Window Media, and more significantly the content is better. The player also features “channels” from different countries, as well as opt-in “alerts” and a “resource guide” too.
