Hi, I’m John Romeo. Well, actually, I’m not. He is. Up there. Mr. Redshirt. Each week, John and his crew present a short film “featurette”, and then they tell you about the story behind the story at Romeo Theatre.
Here’s John’s story: John Romeo is a full time art director, part time video production company owner. He’s married, has one fluffy cat and loves short form featurettes. He is a happily bald man with tilt-at-the-windmills kind of dream–to share his passion for short form featurettes with the world.
John is also a big believer in the future of downloadable entertainment content. That’s why he chose podcasting as his primary content distribution vehicle. Speaking of vehicles, eventually John wants to make Romeo Theatre a vehicle for other short form featurette auteurs to showcase their talents.
What I like about John is his honesty. He freely admits that his skills are amateur at best. What I also like about John is his commitment to a pretty neat concept. That’s why despite each webisodes varied consistency, we encourage site surfers to return again and again. Let’s hope that other videomakers take him up on the offer and upload their movies to the Romeo Theatre.
