WahIndia: Access Bollywood?

Wah means Bravo in Indian. WahIndia is a streaming Internet website created “to truly reflect the positive and upbeat essence” of the unique Indian cultural and entertainment phenomenon called Bollywood. If you think of Swajana as the Indian equivalent of “National Geographic”, then WahIndia could be their online “Access Bollywood”.

WahIndia is as an exciting place to roll over with your mouse. It’s chock full of Bollywood film clips and interviews with Bollywood stars, as well as with up and comers. The site overflows with lush colors, music and toothy grins. It’s the perfect place for newbies to surf and bone up on what hipsters already know: the Indian Bollywood scene is no longer beoming, it’s now the place to be. Anglo, Latino, even Japanese film celebrities are now vying to appear in the latest Bollywood cinematic spectaculars.

Nevermind that you don’t speak any of the dozens of Indian dialects. Most of the interviews are in English, and the film clips, well, music and spectacle being the universal languages make comprehension not a problem.
So surf on over to WahIndia.com and see what you’re missing. But beware: WahIndia producers are temporarily transforming their website, so until its complete, you will be re-directed to WahIndia’s earlier programming, posted on YouTube.  Not to worry. Nothing’s lost in the translation.

Or you may alternatively be asked to log in.  Now that’s annoying.
