Welcome to LynchLand

Liam Lynch wears many hats in the entertainment industry. He was the creator, co-writer, musician, actor, director, and executive producer of Mtv’s Sifl and Olly Show, a surreal program featuring sock puppets. The daily show ran three seasons and was ranked among MTV’s top ten shows at the time. Now the multi-hyphenate has chosen to conquer the Internet universe. LynchLand is the name of his monthly video podcast. These are strange and quietly frenetic webisodes harkening back to a simpler, more Pythonesque time.

According to his bio, Lynch has been writing stories and original music since age 12. He wrote, recorded, and produced his first album of original songs at age 15. By age 18, he was a published writer and poet. By the age of 21, Lynch was professionally touring, working in music publishing, and had landed recording deals with large studios in Nashville, TN. At 26 Lynch found himself working in recording studios in Liverpool with Sir George Martin and attending lectures with Brian Eno.

He became one of 40 musicians chosen from around the world to study in the inaugural class of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, founded by Sir Paul McCartney.

While in England, Lynch produced local Liverpool bands, worked with writer/producer John Parish, acted in television commercials, and was featured in three BBC documentaries. After watching any single episode of LynchLand, one could easily understand why.

And thats why he got the brilliant idea to create his own television show from his living room. We think its a brilliant idea too. But dont believe us. surf on over to LiamLynch.net and see what youre missing.
