Time Out New York On Demand is a collaboration of City on Demand, Time Out New York magazine and Time Warner Cable. Originally designed to be an “unprecedented video on demand channel driven by editorial content”, available only on Time Warner NYC cable television, Time Out New York on Demand has migrated successfully to the World Wide Web.
Where once Time Out New York was intended to get New Yorkers off their duffs and out into the city, it now allows Manhattan ex-pats to keep up with goings on in the Big Apple without having to suffer through the onerous task of actually reading.
The short-form review and insight video segments, combined with behind-the-scenes video highlights of New York City’s top eateries, nightclubs, theatres and other unique locales, give New Yorkers and wannabes alike reason enough to tune in, on demand. Each segment is hosted by one Time Out New York magazine editor or another. Their jaunty styles and characteristically New York take make it worth it to return to Time Out New York again and again.
