WallStrip Catches CBS’s Eye

WallStrip, the daily video web log where “stock culture meets pop culture”, has fallen under the covetous CBS eye. In a deal announced by Jossip, CBS will buy the “hipping Wall Street to the unhip” online video program for “something in the $5 million range.”

The show, only once described as “Motley Fool meets Wall Street Week in Review as interpreted by the Not-Ready-For-Prime-Time-Players” is insightful and also humorous. What it is not, is profitable, leading to speculation as to what CBS’s true motives are. Insiders speculate CBS really wants WallStrip host Lindsay Campbell to become their answer to ABC.com’s Amanda Congdon.
