It’s official! HappySlip is now 50 posts into its Internet career. Veteran online performer, Internet celebrity and HappySlip.com creator Christine Gambito posted the big 5-0, “Houston YouTube Gathering!” yesterday. The post is a “reach out” to YouTubers to attend the upcoming June 15th YouTube gathering scheduled for Houston, TX.
Christine has been producing HappySlip webisodes since September, 2006. Her performances often include comedy sketches in which she impersonates members of her family. She is also an accomplished musician, accompanying herself on piano or guitar when performing original or parody cover songs.
Christine Gambito’s talents also extend to behind the camera. She films, edits and produces her shorts completely on her own
In other news of note, Ms. Gambito was appointed Ambassador for Philippine Tourism by the Philippine Department of Tourism in January of this year. You go, girl!
